We physically construct the sign in separate wooden layers.
The ½" thick wood backing creates a substantial foundation, while the ¼" top layer raises the design away from the surface. Combined, the finished piece measures approximately ¾" (0.75") thick.
From straight ahead, you see the complete artwork. Move to the side and the separation between the wooden layers becomes much more noticeable.
